DALLAS (January 29, 2018)— The University of Dallas Gupta College of Business in Irving, Texas inducted Lloyd D Lowe Sr into the college’s 2018 Business Hall of Fame.
All together four alumni were inducted at a special event on Friday evening, Jan. 26. The honorees included Lloyd, Jennifer Chandler of U.S. Trust, Tom Nealon of Southwest Airlines and Fanny Sheumaker of 7-11.
Lloyd has always been a firm believer in the fact that training, tenure and track record are the true differentiators in any profession. Tenure is earned over time, track record is proved by effort and training is a critical component that underpins success. Lloyd earned his MBA in financial planning from the University of Dallas in 1995.
“The moral and ethical character of the University of Dallas really enhanced my education,” said Lloyd. “I agree with the government’s push for the ‘fiduciary standard.’ On a daily basis, our company follows a clear and strong fiduciary (client-first) philosophy, ingrained by my University of Dallas training.”
This is the fourth class to be inducted into the hall of fame, which was established to recognize, honor and celebrate outstanding business leaders who have achieved significant success in their chosen fields of business and who embody the spirit of the Gupta College of Business.
